 Outing to the Hornsey Fire StationJoin Haringey Families today!Haringey Families is a non profit-making organisation set up to provide activities, events and services for the families who live in or around Haringey in North London. Whilst most of our events take place in Crouch End and Muswell Hill, our members come from throughout the borough and in neighbouring Camden, Barnet and Islington.
Haringey Families (formerly Haringey Mothers) has been running for over 40 years. It has around 800 members, and organises around 50 events a year. Above all, it is a very friendly and informal organisation, run entirely by volunteers.
Whilst previously it catered for very young children, we are now providing events for all ages, such as tours of Arsenal Stadium, and discounted West End theatre tickets.
For an annual fee of £12.50, members can:
• receive a bi-monthly newsletter containing articles, information about things happening in the area, and listings of local services and nearly-new goods offered by other members
• attend events like the Summer Fun Day, the Halloween and Easter parties, fire-station visits, cooking workshops, animal shows, stadium visits, buy discounted West End theatre tickets and attend parenting and first-aid courses
• use the organisation’s weekly toddler group
• exclusive access to Haringey Families database of recommended local tradespeople with testimonials from our members
• take advantage of exclusive member offers
• buy and sell goods at the monthly Haringey Families Nearly New Sales and through the newsletter.
Being a member is a great way to get to know people living locally, and to get more out of living in the area. We aim to provide things of interest to families of all different ages, and so – whatever your family situation – you would be very welcome!
