Haringey Families is a non profit-making organisation set up to provide activities, events and services for the families who live in or around Haringey in North London. While most of our events take place in Crouch End and Muswell Hill, our members come from throughout the borough and neighbouring Camden, Barnet and Islington. The organisation has been running since 1963. Currently there are around 800 members. We arrange about 50 events a year. Above all, it is a very friendly and informal organisation, run entirely by volunteers.

Easter Extravaganza Party 24th March

Come and join in our extremely popular Easter Extravaganza party on the 24^th March at 15:00 till 17.00 at Tetherdown Hall.

We have some excellent craft activities and face painters to make all our little ones into perfect Easter bunnies. We have the extraordinarily talented and local entertainer, Jeremy to keep us all amused.

There will also be prices for the best decorated Easter bunnies!

Muswell Hill Toy Library

We are a registered charity based at Muswell Hill Library, Queens Avenue, N10 near the roundabout. We lend toys, musical toys and CDs, games, etc to accompanied children aged from birth to seven. The service is free to parents on benefit, otherwise there is a low annual subscription. We are open Mondays 2- 3.30 (not Bank Holidays), and Thursdays and Fridays 9.30-12, with Singalongs and Storytimes on Mondays and Thursdays to which all ages are welcome, especially carers who join in! At all sessions there are plenty of one piece toys put out for children to play with, push along, ride on etc! Juice is available at our bar. At Easter, Christmas, and Summer Holidays we put on events to which admission is entirely free, but to satisfy fire regulations numbers have to be limited by tickets available in advance. Delicious & Nutritious – Cookery Workshop

SATURDAY 3rd March. 2.30- 4.00PM
After last year’s successful event, Haringey Families have teamed up with Nutrition Concerns again for an afternoon cooking workshop to inspire you and your children to get cooking together.

We will be making 3 seasonal recipes which have been specially chosen and adapted to enable your children to get as involved in the cooking process as possible. At the end of the session we will try the food we have made together and any leftover you can take home.

Nutrition Concerns core aims are to help families understand and implement a healthier approach to diet, to enable and encourage children to get involved with food and start to learn basic cooking skills, and to encourage the sharing of food in a social and fun atmosphere.

Please join us for an afternoon of fun and leaning and sharing delicious food together.
